Integration Team Update 35

In Blog, OMG Network by OMG Network

Over the past 2 weeks, we’ve continued to implement features for the Ethereum & Plasma integration. Deposit wallet pooling is now merged and two large pull requests, blockchain transaction refactor and blockchain settings, are in the review phase. Additionally, 3 bugs were fixed in the same period.

Here are the main items we’ve knocked out since the last update:

  • Deposit wallet funds pooling #1147
  • Pad private keys before encoding and storage #1168
  • Fix passing boolean-incompatible value throwing error on mix omg.config #1172
  • Revert nonce if a blockchain transaction returned an error #1173

In progress

These tasks are currently being worked on, or are pending review by the OmiseGO Integration Team members:

  • Refactor blockchain transactions #1170
  • Blockchain settings #1171

The OmiseGO team is in the middle of a company-wide workshop. The workshop kicked off this week with a hackathon participated in by all the OmiseGO Product and Engineering teams. As we continue the workshop over the weekend and into the next week, we will be further aligning team efforts and goals, sharing development strategies, getting the whole team up to speed with the latest in the Ethereum and blockchain ecosystem, and discussing the future of cross border payments and OmiseGO’s role in it.

In light of this, our regular updates will resume on the last week of October and our AMA will be back in November. However, as always, you can follow our progress on the eWallet GitHub project page and on our GitHub Milestones page. If contributing code is your thing, we have a list of issues suitable for first-time contributors. Be sure to check it out!
